Evang Christopher David of the Catholic Diocese of Zaria has told participants of the ongoing Lenten prayer programme in St. Mary’s Catholic Church Samaru Zaria to allow God to use them to reach out to others during the current challenging period.
The minister who anchored the Word Session on Monday, 4th March 2024 also disclosed that some other countries in the world are also going through their own crisis. He reminded them that many who began this year with them are no longer alive to witness what is happening asserting that God kept them alive for a purpose.“There is a purpose for your life at a time like this.
You must make up your mind to allow God to use you to do what He wants to do with you. If you do not make up your mind to help somebody your resources may be transferred to others. You may not have much but God performs miracles with little.
He can multiply the little in the hands of the available so that they can touch others. We are in a time when the wisdom of men is contending for the supernatural acts of God. But at the end of the day, the result will show. When you tell God you are available for Him to use you, demons will run out of you because there is liberty in the Presence of God.
The problem we have today is that many of us are not ready to make themselves available. We are living for ourselves. At a time like this, it is not what you have or how much you have saved, it is what God has in stock for you.
You may not know the people God has placed around you but if you make yourself available, God will reveal them to you. It was when Esther made herself available that she met the king. If you make yourself available, favour will appear to you like a dream. God will show up for you at a time like this.
He will change your story even when you do not believe it, just take a step.”Evang David told them that some families are experiencing strange miracles at the moment because of the good deeds of their parents.
He reminded them that nobody lives on earth forever and tasked them to live worthwhile legacies behind so that they may be remembered for good.
