Africa’s biggest Gospel Musical group based in Lagos,Nigeria, “The Unusual Praise” is set to hit the commercial city of Onitsha again after it’s previous successful outings in Onitsha in the past years.
The Gospel Musical expo set for this year,November 8,2024,was unveiled on Sunday July 28,2024 at the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity,Onitsha,where officials of the organisation and numerous fans of the Gospel concert group converged to witness the unveiling ceremony.
A top official of the group,Barr(Mrs) Tina Igbokwe flew in from Lagos to break the cheering news to hundreds of enthusiastic fans who displayed various promotional paraphanalia of the group ranging from faze caps, T-shirts, bangles,handfans and flyers in addition to musical displays on large outdoor television screens placed at strategic areas of the Basilica premises.
While unveiling the Unusual Praise Gospel Musical Concert 2024,the coordinating priest and director of Archbishop Valerian Okeke Music Academy(AVOMA)Rev Fr John Ezeanowai,promised the Gospel Musical Concert would be spiritually enriching and attract a lot of blessings to the faithful,pointing out that the beauty and completeness of prayers is singing and dancing in praises to God.
He urged the faithful to take advantage of another spiritually refreshing Gospel Musical expo and come out in large numbers to relax and praise God for leading them through the economic hardship.
In her contribution,one of the national coordinators of the Unusual Praise ensemble,Barr(Mrs) Tina Igbokwe,while addressing journalists said this year’s package of the outing would not only be extraordinarily exciting but one with a lot of packages such as empowerment of dozens of youths to become enterpreneurs and Unusual Praise Ambassadors.She invited sponsors for the show which according to her will attract a lot of goodwill and spiritual benefits to the sponsors.
She disclosed that many youths were empowered to start various businesses with financial support which have lifted them out of poverty.She thanked the Metropolitan Archbishop of Onitsha Most Rev Valerian Okeke and members of his clergy and others who have been supportive of the event.
Big Gospel artistes from across the country are expected to perform live on the event.
