Sen Victor Umeh who is currently in the red chamber, representing Anambra central senatorial district, on Thursday advised his political opponents to give him space to work since appeal Court has validated his victory at the 2023 general election that produced him as the senator representing Anambra senatorial district.
According to him, with his victory at tribunal and at the appeal court, the people mandate bestowed on him is no longer questionable, stating that it is time to work. ” It is time my opponents give me space to work because I don’t need any distraction again. I have resolved to redouble my efforts in getting the fare share for our people and as well being their voice.
“I thank God for granting me victory at the election, at the tribunal and finally at the appeal court. It is not by my power, but the Lords’ doing. My major concern now is the welfare of my people. At the end of four years, the people of my senatorial district will testify about what my represention has offered them. “
