Mr. LouisMary Dunu, a seminarian of the Catholic Archdiocese of Onitsha, has emerged as the Best Graduating Student of the 2023/2024 academic session at Bigard Memorial Seminary, Enugu. Mr Dunu is also a parishioner at Holy Family Parish, Nkpor. He was honoured during the institution’s 53rd Convocation Ceremony, a remarkable achievement that underscores his academic excellence and moral integrity.
Dunu, who hails from Agulu, began his educational journey at Holy Family Nursery and Primary School, Akuzor Nkpor Agu, before proceeding to St. Joseph Seminary, Special Science School, Awka-Etiti, for his secondary education. His consistent dedication to scholarship and virtue culminated in his attainment of a Summa Cum Laude in his Bachelor of Philosophy degree from Urbaniana University, Rome, to which Bigard Memorial Seminary is affiliated.
The convocation ceremony was graced by his family, friends, and well-wishers, who gathered to celebrate his outstanding academic feat.
Currently, Dunu is undergoing his one-year senior apostolic work at All Hallows Seminary, Onitsha, where he serves as one of the auxiliaries. His achievement not only brings pride to his family and Onitsha Archdiocese but also serves as an inspiration to seminarians and young scholars aspiring for excellence in both academics and character.
