Former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, has expressed his determination to reclaim his mandate and lead Nigeria to freedom from what he terms the forces of darkness. Speaking at a recent post on Twitter, the Labour party presidential candidate, promise Nigerians in his words he said I will reclaim my mandate and Nigeria will be free from force of darkness.
According to the outspoken politician, Nigeria is currently being held hostage by a cabal of people who want to maintain the status quo at all costs. He highlighted the worsening security situation, rising unemployment, and widespread poverty as some of the issues plaguing the country.
Obi, who is widely regarded as one of the most successful governors in the country, stressed the need for a complete overhaul of the Nigerian political system. He called for more transparency, accountability and good governance, which he believes will go a long way in improving the lives of Nigerians.
The former Governor stated that he is ready to lead the charge for change in Nigeria, saying “I am not afraid of the forces of darkness. They cannot stop me. I will reclaim my mandate and Nigeria will be free”. He also urged Nigerians to unite and work towards a common goal of building a better and more prosperous nation.
