A powerful delegation from the Catholic Lawyers Association,Archdiocese of Onitsha,made it to the Onitsha Custodial Centre where they paid tribute to the Metropolitan Archbishop of Onitsha on his 70th birthday.
The delegation was led by their President, Barrister (Sir) Azubike Anazor who is also a knight of St John International.
In a remark to journalists, Barrister Anazor said the Catholic Lawyers could not afford to be missing in the 70th anniversary celebration having enjoyed long,cordial and enduring relationship with the Archbishop.
According to Sir Anazor,Catholic Lawyers have always seen and regarded the Archbishop as a role model from who they have gained a lot of insights through his admonitions,counsels, homilies and footsteps.
The Catholic Lawyers also hailed the Archbishop for his spiritual and material achievements not only in Onitsha Archdiocese but in the entire Onitsha Ecclesiastical Province under his control.
The lawyers wished him good health and more of God’s wisdom to achieve many more years ahead.
Also,a delegation from Anambra state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice led by Barrister Ikenna Ekwerekwu felicitated the Archbishop on his 70th birthday.The four man delegation who attended the thanksgiving mass eulogized the Archbishop on his good works in the Archdiocese.
Barrister Ekwerekwu told Trinitas that the state Attorney General was pleased to identify with the Archbishop on his 70th birthday, prompting her despatch of a delegation to wish him well.
Meanwhile,the Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board chairperson,Dr Vera Nwadinobi has also felicitated the Archbishop on his birthday as she attended the thanksgiving mass.
Dr Nwadinobi said that at 70,the Archbishop has made indelible foot prints on the sand of time and wish him many happy returns.
