The members of Catholic Charismatic Renewal of Nigeria CCRN Nnobi region, last Sunday ended their ten days revival for the new year.
The regional president Br. Uche Nweze Ekwunife who spoke to Trinitas newspaper correspondent expressed great joy over the revival titled ‘When the Lion of Judah appears’ which he described as a spiritual exercise that will energize the people of God in Nigeria to face the realities the current administration is presenting, urging all Christians to pray for Nigeria in distress.
He called on Christians to be strong in faith and never waver, positing that year 2024 is blessed year only that we need to strengthen our faith in order to tap from the blessings the year is providing.
He thanked the regional Chaplain Fr Ogbuebuna and members for participating in the programme actively. Also, the secretary of the region Sr. Ngozi Umeh in her contribution remarked that the revival is spirit filled programme that has empowered the members to conquer and come out victorious in 2024, urging them to continue to spread the gospel of Christ. “We Christians must avoid sin, work hard and pray fervently in order to achieve great success this year as sin can constitute a barrier to our potential success.”
Also, a member, Br. Jude Onyekachi ( financial secretary of the region) urged fellow Christians to focus on Jesus as He is the solution to every problem we may be facing today in Nigeria. ” Hold tenaciously to God and every other problem will be taken care of”, he advised.
