With solemn prayers and thanksgiving to God,the management and staff of Trinitas Communications,publishers of Trinitas Newspapers and sundry publications,
Archdiocese of Onitsha,during the week marked th 5th death anniversary of the Onitsha Archdiocesan Director of Social Communications,Very Rev Fr Pius Uche Ukor.
The late Fr Ukor,who died tragically on Wednesday,December 4,2019,was buried on January 7,2020 by the Archbishop of Onitsha,Most Rev Valerian Okeke at the Archdiocesan cemetery amid tears and wailing by his brother priests,relatives and friends.
In his remarks,the Onitsha Archdiocesan Director of Social Communications,Very Rev Fr Dr George Adimike said the late Fr Ukor made positive contributions towards the growth of communications in the Archdiocese and Trinitas Newspaper in particular.
According to him,his memory was worth celebrating with prayers and thanksgiving adding that it was God’s Will that fell upon him to leave for greater glory.
Fr Adimike urged all members of staff and management to continue to remember him in their prayers and also remember that every one has a date with death.
Other priests who paid tribute to the late Fr Ukor are the Editor of Trinitas Newspapers,Rev Fr Vincent Chukwuka and the Online Editor,Rev Fr Samuel Nwankwo.
May the soul of Fr Pius Ukor and the soul of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.Amen.
