The Parish Priest of St Mary’s Catholic Church Samaru Zaria Rev Fr Augustine Isek has charged the faithful to keep watch over their families so that the enemy may not invade their lives.
The priest who made this call on Saturday, 23rd March 2024 explained that God is interested in those who are ready to pay the price for their families so that He may equip and work with them.“Can you stand for your family?” He queried. “There must be one person who can see in your family. Sometimes, you see through dreams; you see through many ways.
But the person selected to stand at the gate is often the one who suffers more than everybody in the family. Funny enough the whole family may be attacking that person because the devil is angry that this person is standing for the family. So he can use the family to attack that one person. God is looking for somebody who as a gate of the family.
If you are already a gate keeper, continue to pray for your family.”Fr Isek told them to be mindful of the visitors who come into their homes. Among others, he nudged them to hang blessed crucifix at main entrances of their houses, and to sprinkle the Holy Water in their homes on before they go to bed every night for spiritual fortification and protection.
