The Director General South East Governors Forum, Senator Uche Ekwunife CON has procured and handed over a multi-million naira 14-seater vehicle to the Catholic Women Organization of St Joseph’s Catholic Church Nri, in Njikoka local government area of Anambra state.
This donation is in fulfilment of her promise shortly after the 2023 general elections, to lessen the mobility constraints of the church in spreading the gospel and winning souls for the Most High God. This kind gesture explains why Senator Uche Ekwunife is different from contemporary politicians who’s relationship with the society is exclusively tied to political advantage.
Senator Uche Ekwunife Ph.D presented the gift to the CWO president Ezinne Mrs Anthonia Onuorah shortly after the mass presided over by the Parish Priest, Rev’d Father Prof Clement Ezeka, who expressed appreciation, prayed for her and other leaders across the country, in view of realizing peaceful coexistence and economic stability through their leadership qualities.
Senator Ekwunife while presenting the gift urged the congregation, as well as Christians all over Nigeria to pray for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other leaders managing various institutions of government, noting that once our leaders get it right, the citizenry would be better for it.
