Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg has reported that Bayer Leverkusen might consider accepting a €50 million offer for Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface.
Plettenberg shared the information on his X app account (formerly Twitter), mentioning that there is interest from both Saudi Arabian and Premier League clubs in Boniface. He noted that some insiders believe a move to Saudi Arabia could materialize before the transfer deadline.
Although Bayer 04 does not view Boniface as unsellable, they are seeking at least €50 million for him.
It’s worth noting that Boniface was benched during Leverkusen’s recent 2-1 defeat to Atletico Madrid in their UEFA Champions League match on Tuesday night.
He was included in Leverkusen’s squad for the game after recovering from a thigh injury he sustained while on international duty last November.
