The Chairman of the National Union of Market Traders Employers of Nigeria (NUMTEN) Anambra State Council, Comrade Nnamsom Nwafor-Orizu, has joined other Anambrarians to celebrate Anambra State on the occasion of its 33rd Anniversary.
In his congratulatory message contained in a statement, Comrade Nwafor-Orizu expressed gratitude to God for what he described as His awesomeness and grace, saying that the state had recorded some recognizable milestones and was on track to attain its full potential.
‘On behalf of the Executive Council of NUMTEN, Anambra State Council, I congratulate Ndi Anambra and the Governor Soludo-led administration on this auspicious occasion. The 33rd anniversary of the state’s creation is indeed worth celebrating. I am happy with the upward developments and achievements of past and present leaders of the state. The indices are there for all to see that the state has made tremendous progress, even though there is room improvement.
The NUMTEN boss, while congratulating the state, called on traders and market leaders to identify with the Union created solely by the Federal government of Nigeria to bridge the gap between them and the government of the day, saying that they derived their operational powers from the Ministry of Labour and Productivity.
