The Man of Order and Discipline(MOD),Zone A,unit 007,Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity,Onitsha,during the week installed 10 new patrons and patronesses.
During their investiture at the Basilica,the presiding priest and Associate Rector of the Basilica,Rev Fr John Ezeanowai charged the investees to take the message of discipline and good conduct to their various families and neighborhood now that the youths are known to be engaging in all kinds of indiscipline.
According to Fr Ezeanowai,the patrons and patronesses should try and continue to uphold the principle behind establishing the MOD by it’s founder which was meant to instil discipline and order in the church and the youths in particular.
He commended the leadership of the MOD in the Basilica Parish for finding the new patrons and patronesses worthy of their new positions.
Names of some of the personalities installed as patrons and patronesses include a renowned choir master,Sir Basil Aka,Barr (Mrs)Ada Alozie,Mr Hyacinth Okafor and Lady Ndidi Ononye.
Others are,Chief Obunadike Nchekwube,Hon Ujoatuonu Kevin,Mr Onowu Nweke Simon,Mr Anyiam Philip and Mr Asoanya Philip.
Leaders of the Basilica MOD unit namely,the Chaplain,Rev Fr Bartholomew Okpalaugo,Rev Brother Gabinus Ofuecheta and the chairman,Basilica Unit commander,Comrade Evaristus Okeke were all present at the ceremony.
