Fresh graduates of the Veritas Catholic University on scholarship scheme of the Archdiocese of Onitsha came calling on the Archbishop of Onitsha,Most Reverend Valerian Okeke during the week to express gratitude to the Archbishop for granting them scholarship to study at the University.
The students having graduated in their various fields of studies are presently undergoing their National Youth Service scheme in various parts of the country.
While receiving the students at the Archbishop’s Lodge,Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity,Onitsha,the Archbishop commended them for taking advantage of the scholarship and excelling in their chosen fields of study.
He reiterated his desire to continue encouraging the youths to attain their dreams inorder to achieve his vision of excellence.
The students were represented by, Nwabueze Emmanuel,Izuako MaryPerpetua,Obuasi Stephen,Attamah Chidera andMuo Albert.
Others not present during the visit are,Asumonye Cynthia,Chukwunonye Maria Goretti,Amulue Rosaline,Obasi Francisca and Nnaike Josephine.
The Onitsha Archdiocesan Education Secretary Reverend Father Dr Paschal Onwugbenu joined the Archbishop in welcoming the students.
