The Uyo camp of the Super Eagles is now bursting at the seams following the arrivals of Atalanta’s Europa League hero, Ademola Lookman as well Fulham striker Alex Iwobi yesterday ahead of tomorrow’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Bafana Bafana of South Africa.
Due to the Organised Labour’s strike on Monday, only 15 players out of the 23 listed for key Match Day 3 cracker by coach Finidi George began training while the quintet of Semi Ajayi, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Calvin Bassey Frank Onyeka and Paul Onuachu only joined the team on Tuesday.
Only Udinese goalkeeper Maduka Okoye was still being expected in Uyo last night despite his reported arrival in Lagos yesterday.
