Our Lady’s Secondary School Nnobi inaugurated the 2024/2025 academic year and bid farewell to its 2023/2024 SS3 graduates on Sunday, October 13, 2024. The event featured a colorful sendforth party and a yearly competition sponsored by INKWELL Foundation , China.
Rev. Fr. Vincent Nwanosike, school manager, in a speech expressed joy over the students’ outstanding performances. “Our Lady’s Secondary School is a hub of academic excellence and sound character. Our school fees are justified and affordable for all classes of society.”
Fr. Nwanosike highlighted the school’s achievements which includes emerging First place in Southeast techno -novation challenge, adding that their college was shortlisted among top schools in Nigeria and later represented Africa in the global competition.
He praised the outgoing students’ exceptional academic performance, with the best graduating student achieving 7 A’s, 1 B, and 1 C. While congratulating them, the manager charged them to stand tall and conquer challenges of tomorrow and never compromise the standards they have been taught.
The manager further encouraged the new students to be open to learning. “Engage with one another, take active role in school activities and embrace the culture of excellence the college is championing.”
Fr. Nwanosike rained accolades on His Grace Most Rev. Valerian Okeke, the proprietor, for his guidance and encouragement. He thanked the parents for their support and for believing in their college .
He also appreciated INKWELL Foundation China for sponsoring the competition that has greatly assisted the students in embracing the culture of excellence.
“The students, parents, and staff are thrilled with the prizes won, including four laptops. It’s a testament to our combined efforts, Fr Nwanosike disclosed.
Also, the school principal Mrs Eunice Mmodu in her remarks expressed satisfaction over the level of academic success the college is recording, assuring parents that the tempo would be sustained.
“I’m grateful for the support and guidance I received from our teachers and parents,” said one of the graduating students Chika. “Our Lady’s Secondary School has prepared me for the next stage of my educational journey.”
Another graduating student Favour , echoed the sentiment. “We’re grateful for the prizes and recognition. Our Lady’s Secondary School has been a wonderful experience.”

Parent, Mrs. Njideka Nwankwo, praised the school’s dedication to academic excellence and character development. “I’m impressed with the school’s achievements and the values they instill in the students. My child has grown academically and morally.”

Parent, Mr. Uche Okafor commended the school’s commitment to holistic education. “The school’s focus on academic and moral development is exemplary. I’m proud to be a part of this community.”

The results of INKWELL competition showed that Nwankwo Cynthia took first position in Mathematics, Onochie Chisom Emmanuel emerged first position in Sciences, Ede Chidera Martin came first in Essay and Nwandu Chinazom Charles won first position in Spelling Bee.
Trinitas Newspaper observed that the event showcased the school’s achievements and reinforced its reputation as a center of excellence.
