The remains of renowned Estate Valuer and Barrister at Law,Sir Damian Chibuzor Okolo,are now set for final journey to eternity.
A funeral arrangement released by the family and signed by Mr Chibuike John Okolo and Mr Patrick Okolo says that on Friday 5th April 2024,his remains will arrive Onitsha High Court by 9am for Valedictory session followed by a brief stop over at the Onitsha Sports Club by 11 am.
On Monday 8th April 2024 by 5:00 pm,a christian wake-keep will hold at his No 6 Niger Drive,GRA residence Onitsha,Anambra State.
On Wednesday 10th April,the body will make a brief stop-over at his GRA residence followed by a funeral mass at the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity,Onitsha by 10am.
On Thursday 11th April 2024,there will be a vigil mass at Chief Sir Damian Okolo’s country home,Oduda,Nnewichi,Nnewi by 5pm.
On Friday 12th April 2024,by 8am,his remains will lie in state at his compound in Nnewichi,followed by a funeral mass at St Peter Claver Catholic Church,Nnewichi,Nnewi and thereafter,interment at his country home.
The statement added that condolence visits by in-laws,and well wishers will continue on Saturday,13th April,2024.
On Sunday,14th April 2024,a thanksgiving mass will hold at the St Peter Claver Catholic Church,Nnewichi by 10am.
