The TC Chairman Onitsha North Local government council Hon. Onochie Ozoma on Wednesday, disclosed that every road destroyed by potholes in his council would be repaired at this yuletide season.
Hon. Onochie who revealed this while fielding questions from the press noted that twelve roads have been already taking care of as remaining ones would be repaired as soon as possible.
He also disclosed that his council has embarked on recovering of roads under his jurisdiction from street trading.
The chairman further hinted that his council will clean the gutters starting from old market road, taking it down to Marine road, Bright street, Emejulu and others.
He made it clear that Anambra people are lucky to have Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo as the governor, a man who has come to turn things around for the good of the people. ” Our governor is a visionary leader and very intentional about his transformative programmes. Within one year in office, he has showcased the stuff he is made of and his sincerity of purpose. Over 5000 teachers have been employed. More three thousand would be recruited soon. Every sector in the state is receiving due attention, courtesy of the working governor.”
