The knights and Ladies of St Francis Subcouncil Onitsha during the week rounded off activities marking their founder’s day,(the late Rev Fr Abraham Anselm Isidahome Ojefua).
Some of the activities included a three day retreat and lectures on the life and time of fr Ojefua.
In one of the lectures,former Grand Knight of KSM St Mary’s Subcouncil Onitsha,Sir Joseph Nsika described fr Ojefua as humility personified and who inspite of all odds took the order of KSM to enviable level.
He urged members to emulate fr Ojefua by practicalising his attributes in all ramifications inorder to make the society a better place.
In his contribution,the Grand Knight of the Subcouncil,Sir Donatus Chukwuemeka Enendu thanked all the knights and ladies of the Subcouncil for attending all the activities of the Subcouncil
He pointed out that though it was his first outing as a Grand Knight of the Subcouncil that he would work hard to promote the values of their founder and the KSM in general.
Bro Enendu charged the members to imbibe humility, sacrifice and honesty as their watchword and as true soldiers of Christ.
The Grand Knight expressed joy that the KSM Nigeria has attained 70 years and has made a lot of positive impact in the church and society in general.
