Christians have been charged to propagate the Good News of Jesus Christ by the way they live their lives every day and everywhere. The Catholic Bishop of Zaria, Most Rev Dr. Habila Tyiakonaboi Daboh who gave the charge listed: rejecting corruption, serving others selflessly, standing for the truth even at a cost, forgiving one another, praying together, and nurturing peace; in their communities and places of work, as ways of exhibiting authentic Christianity.
He continued, “We shine and evangelize as Christians when our daily lives become a living witness to Who we profess. This happens when our words reflect truth and kindness, our actions express love and justice, and our choices are guided by integrity even when no one is watching us.”
Bishop Daboh implored them to carry their crosses with faith and to make the light of Christ visible in them by responding to hatred with love, and to suffering with hope
