In a significant gesture aimed at enhancing digital learning and supporting educational development in Nnobi, the Sir Pius Ufudo Foundation has donated eight laptop computers and a complete solar power system to Seat of Wisdom Comprehensive Secondary School.
The donation, which includes solar panels, inverters, and batteries, is designed to ensure reliable electricity for the school’s academic and administrative needs, especially during after-school hours. It aligns with the Foundation’s broader goal of transforming Seat of Wisdom into a model educational institution within Anambra State.
This intervention coincided with the birthday celebration of Mr. Obinna Ufudo, also known as Ochendo Nnobi, who serves as Chairman of the Sir Pius Ufudo Foundation. His deep-rooted commitment to improving access to education, healthcare, and environmental sustainability in the region was highlighted through the gesture.
Seat of Wisdom School was formally adopted by the Foundation earlier this year, following its impressive three-year streak (2023–2025) as champion of the Nnobi Secondary Schools Mathematics Quiz Competition. Since the adoption, the Foundation has promised long-term strategic support across infrastructure, faculty development, and academic enrichment.
Reacting to the donation, the school manager, Rev. Fr. John Ezeokoli, expressed heartfelt appreciation on behalf of the school community. He described the intervention as a life-changing act of generosity that would empower students to reach new heights in their academic journey.
“Surely the students whose future you have brightened through this empowerment will always be your testimony to greater achievement and upliftment,” Fr. Ezeokoli said.
The Sir Pius Ufudo Foundation reiterated its commitment to working closely with the school’s leadership to position Seat of Wisdom as a hub for academic excellence and local pride.
