Members of Catholic Charismatic Renewal in Nigeria (CCRN), of the Catholic Diocese of Zaria, have been called upon to solve the challenges that are confronting them by activating the potentials in them.
Diocesan Deputy Chairman of the group, Evang Paul Okwori made this call at Our Lady of Perpetual Pastoral Centre, Graceland Zaria, Kaduna State, Thursday, February 6, 2025, during the renewal’s 2025 Prayer Camp themed, ‘Divine Favour’.
Speaking on the topic, ‘At A Time Like This’, the minster observed that many people are suffering because they are not in the business or place that God has called them to be, while some others have left their places and duties in the House of God, pursing their personal interests.
“Many of us are weeping because we lack understanding of the will of God.” The speaker revealed. “You were born to be a solution to whatever you are passing through. Believers in the Bible conquered the situation in their lives. They became stronger through the challenges they faced and we can make reference to them today.”
“God has deposited things in every child of His. They are the weapons that you will use to conquer the kingdom of darkness. Some of us have the gift of healing but the gift is lying dormant, while people are sick around them. He has called some of us to minster to souls but they are in their businesses. Some are sleeping while souls are perishing. God made us to be the solution to the problems of our time.”
Evang Okwori told them to work towards discovering the purpose of God for their lives. He also charged them prosper the work of God so that He may prosper theirs, even as he prayed that He may quicken them to return to their duty posts.
