The Archbishop of Onitsha,Most Rev Valerian Okeke has felicitated a Centenarian,madam Veronica Ugonye Nwosu who celebrated her 100th birthday on 6th October,2024, at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish,Ifite Nkpor- Uno,Anambra State.
The celebrant is the mother of Sr Mary Francisca Nwosu (DDL)and Chief Fidelis Nwosu,a renowned civil servant (now retired)and the Vice Chairman,Parish Council of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish,Ifite Nkpor-Uno,Anambra State.
In his message to the celebrant dated September 28,2024, Archbishop Okeke expressed happiness and congratulated madam Nwosu on her 100th birthday saying,”I write to congratulate and identify with you,your family and well wishers as you mark this special event of your life”
The Archbishop in his message,pointed out that birthday anniversaries are celebrations that call for thanksgiving,hence,”Your 100th birthday anniversary is an age of profound gratitude and meditation” adding that “it is not a fruit that grows in everybody’s garden”.
It calls to mind,the Archbishop pointed out,”the abundance of divine benediction in your life,hence the need to express special thanks to God for this rate opportunity”.
“As you mark this anniversary,we rejoice and thank God with you for these years of divine blessings upon your life,”the Archbishop remarked.
