As Governor Chukwuma Soludo journeys into his second term, traditional rulers, senior citizens, and other stakeholders have passionately called on the state governor to focus his attention on power, since the sector is sacrosanct in making other sectors efficient and functional.
Nnobi monarch, HRH Nick Madum Obi, who spoke to Trinitas correspondent shortly after Soludo’s second-term inauguration, commended the governor for his accomplishments in his first term, saying he worked with every sincerity of purpose and has succeeded in taking the state to another level.
The monarch enjoined the governor to focus his attention on improving electricity supply to the state.
Also, the traditional ruler of Abacha, HRH Godwin Odiegwu ( Ezedioramma) Eze Ikendim Abachaleku lll, in his contribution, extolled the governor for the level of infrastructure he put in place in his first term, stating that if such strides are redoubled, Anambra will be the most outstanding state in Nigeria in terms of development and productivity.
He also charged the governor to stabilize electric in the state, as epileptic supply of power remains a major challenge Anambrarians are facing.
A senior citizen of the state, Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka( Ogirisi Igbo), also felicitated the governor, describing his first years in office as transformative.
According to him, Soludo’s administration has touched various sectors of the state and will do more in his second term.
“I urge every Anambrarian to continue to give Soludo maximum support to enable him deliver on his second-term agenda,” he said.
