A 60-Year-Old Woman Miraculously Healed of Dumbness After Saying the Rosary

A 60-year-old woman, Lady Maureen Abadom, an indigene of Onitsha, Anambra State, who worships at St. Ignatius of Antioch Catholic Church, Odonjisi 3-3, recently testified of how she regained her power of speech after two years of dumbness.
According to her, she slept at night on 24th February 2024 and had a terrible dream. When she woke up she became dumb and could not talk again, and her family became so worried that they took her to different hospitals.
Different groups came for prayers but she was still dumb.
She disclosed how she participated actively during this year’s Mothering Sunday that took place on the 19th of April 2026 when members of the Catholic Women Organization (C.W.O) of the parish staged spiritual and physical activities.
Meanwhile, she revealed how C.W.O members took our Blessed Mother Mary home by using Bible passages and saying the Holy Rosary, seeking Mother Mary’s help and intercession.
With great faith, she accepted an award of Golden Mother during the Mothering Sunday event and she continued saying her Rosary, disclosing that she was healed of her dumbness on Friday, April 24, 2026, while saying her morning prayer. “At the end of the prayers, I said Amen and my voice came out loud. I was surprised at the development and immediately I started shouting in joy and that attracted neighbours to my house. It was really amazing. I can’t thank God enough for restoring my power of speech. I was dumb for two years and a few months and today, I can talk again. Let God take all the glory and honour, and I can’t thank our Mother Mary enough for her intercession.”
Trinitas Newspaper learnt that she later went for a Thanksgiving Mass last Sunday, being 26th of April 2026, to appreciate God for the healing and to mark her 60th birthday celebration.
