The House member representing Onitsha South 1 constituency in Anambra state house of Assembly Hon. Fredrick Ezenwa last Sunday pledged to monitor on going roads rehabilitation projects kick started by Governor Soludo’s led administration at Fegge Onitsha to ensure speedy completion.
The lawmaker while commending Gov Soludo for embarking on the roads rehabilitation and reconstruction project, stated that the roads projects when completed will reopen the affected areas for business activities.
He regretted that those roads including Port Harcourt road, Silas works, Zik avenue and Miss Aliens roads have been in bad shape for months, posing serious challenges to vehicular movement.
” I am happy that today that our workaholic governor is giving serous attention to those roads and I will continue to monitor the project until they are completed. When such projects are not monitored, the contractors may delay the completion or even abandone it for no good reason. I have already started monitoring it and will not relent. I was even there this morning “, he disclosed.
The legislator further thanked Soludo for his plans to roll out fleet of vehicles that will be transporting workers and traders to their various offices and markets as part of efforts to cushion the effects of fuel subsidy removal.
Hon Ezenwa while appreciating his constituents for the confidence they are reposing in him, urged them to remain supportive as more good things are coming their way through his transformative representation.
