World football governing body FIFA have lifted a transfer embargo on NPFL club Katsina United.
Katsina United were banned from transfer activities on June 12, 2024 for their indebtedness to a player, Mahamadou Souley.
The ban was to have stood for three transfer windows.
However, upon payment to the creditor by the club, in a letter sent through FIFA’s legal portal, it was revealed that the club were now free to continue transfer activities upon approval by the NFF.
The club have confirmed the embargo has been lifted.
