A catholic priest of Onitsha Archdiocese Rev Fr Cyprian Nwafor, last Sunday advised christians not to compromise their faith over earthly desires and material things.
Fr Nwafor gave the advice while preaching a Sunday Homily.
According to him, Christians should not boarder so much about what to eat or earthly things to acquire provided they are hardworking, adding that the most important thing is finding Christ and living out our Christan values everyday.
” Don’t kill your self over food or other material things. Find Christ first and every other things will be added. Trust in God all the time and believe in Him. Live a real Christian life by loving one another, being compassionate, being charitable, being a peace maker, forgiving one another etc.
Each time you are attending Holy Masses, bear in mind that you are going to meet with the Lord. Prepare your mind and dispose your self in order to gain salvation and receive the blessings of God.”
