Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka, the Managing Director of Rojenny Stadium and Games Village in Oba, has expressed his warm congratulations to Senators Victor Umeh and Ifeanyi Ubah on their notable appointments as Senate Committee Chairmen.
Senator Victor Umeh, representing Anambra Central under the Labour Party, has been appointed Chairman of the Senate Committee on Diaspora and Non-Governmental Organizations. Meanwhile, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, hailing from the Young Progressives Party and representing Anambra South Senatorial District, has taken on the role of Chairman for the Committee on Local Government.
In a statement conveying his felicitations, Ezeonwuka, who also holds the esteemed position of Spiritual Leader of the Igbo Nation, asserted that these appointments were well-deserved acknowledgments. He expressed unwavering confidence in their capacities to contribute substantially to the Senate and the nation in their respective capacities.
Ezeonwuka extolled both Senators, recognizing them as patriots who have effectively demonstrated their capabilities across both public and private sector domains. He emphasized that the significant number of Nigerians residing abroad necessitates dedicated attention and care from the nation.
Ezeonwuka declared, “The appointment of Senator Umeh as Chairman of Diaspora Affairs is a perfect fit. His expertise will undoubtedly serve the best interests of Nigerians abroad.”
Regarding Senator Ubah’s appointment, Ezeonwuka noted the impeccable match, given his strong grassroots connection and profound understanding of the Local Government system’s relevance in national development.
