At St. Kizito Girls’ Secondary School in Umudioka, Archbishop Valerian Okeke celebrated a Holy Mass dedicated to the welfare of the school community, expressing gratitude for God’s goodness and love, and invoking divine blessings on the students and staff. Under the patronage of St. Kizito, the Archbishop’s message was clear: as we approach Pentecost, we must embody the spirit of Christ’s words, “You shall be my witnesses.”
Addressing the students directly, Archbishop Valerian Okeke emphasized the importance of their roles as witnesses of Christ, urging them to let their faith guide their actions and studies. “As children of St. Kizito, you are called to be witnesses to the fact that this school is a center of excellence,” he exhorted, encouraging the students to strive for both spiritual and academic success.
He prayed for divine wisdom and knowledge to enlighten the minds and hearts of the students, ensuring they excel in all their endeavors. “May God send His divine wisdom and knowledge to open the minds and hearts of our students, so that they will always excel,” Archbishop Valerian Okeke prayed, reinforcing his hope for their continued growth and achievement.
