The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, has commended the Archbishop of Onitsha and Metropolitan of the Onitsha Ecclesiastical Province, Most Rev. Dr. Valerian Maduka Okeke, for his significant contributions to education, particularly in the establishment of Shanahan University, Onitsha.
Speaking during his visit to the university, Barrister Ezeokenwa described the Archbishop’s efforts as a remarkable investment in the future of the youth and society. He lauded the prelate’s vision and commitment to tertiary education, emphasizing its transformative role in shaping leaders and driving sustainable development.
Accompanied by the Mayor of Onitsha North L.G.A, Hon. Nweze Tony Nwora, the APGA Chairman also praised the Vice Chancellor of Shanahan University, Prof. Obi Oguejiofor, for his leadership in fostering academic excellence. He acknowledged the university’s dedication to intellectual and moral formation, positioning it as a promising center for knowledge and innovation.
Barrister Ezeokenwa reiterated APGA’s commitment to supporting educational initiatives that align with Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s broader vision for Anambra State. He emphasized that education remains a cornerstone for progress and assured continued advocacy for policies that promote academic excellence and youth empowerment.
