Tansian university Umunya will on Saturday, 18th May hold her 12th convocation ceremony where Senator representing Anambra central senatorial district Senator Victor Umeh (Ohamadike) would be installed as the new Chancellor.
The Vice Chancellor of the University Prof CC Onochie who disclosed this to the press stated that the 12th convocation is a significant milestone in the history of the university. He revealed that the total number of two thousand, four hundred and twenty five ( 2,425) graduates will be awarded degrees certificates in different fields of studies having met the requirements in both character and learning. ” Out of this number, 27 are in the first class honours while 944 are in the second class upper division.
According to him, the graduates are well equipped in quality education, morals and patriotism needed to serve the nation in different areas of social , economic and cultural development of Nigerians and humanity at large.
