As Catholic Mothers rolled out activities to celebrate 2024 mothers’ Sunday, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) R&S Lotto Chief Francis Chidiac on Thursday called on mothers to be the first to teach their children about morals
Chief Chidiac who made the call while congratulating the mothers, urged them to be role model to their children. ” Don’t allow strangers to teach your children about morals because they may end up receiving the wrong teaching and would be misguided.
He posited that the roles of mothers in various homes and in our immediate society cannot be over emphasized, explaining that any society that lacked mothers is doomed.
Mothers he noted needed to be celebrated because their impact in our world is critical and indispensable, describing them as real character moulders.
He also reminded fathers to always support mothers in training up their wards and in making our society a better place. His words: “for mothers to excel in their primary assignment, they needed maximum support from their husbands”
He decried the rate of moral decay among the youth, enjoining mothers not to relent in doing the needful in order to stem the tide.
