It was a carnival of a sort on 5th January, 2024 as the remains of Late Lady Roseline Anyaora nee – Nwankwo, 80 ( Mama seminarians) mother of Ide Arinze S.B Anyaora were buried at her country home Aguluzoigbo.
The burial Mass attracted the presence of Bishop Paulinus Ezeokafor of Awka diocese, dozens of priests, the religious, Senator Victor Umeh, Mr Peter Obi, Mr Valentine Ozigbo, other personalities and large number of sympathizers who came to commiserate with Anyaora family.
In his Homily, Bishop Paulinus Ezeokafor described the deceased as a committed Christian who lived her life for others, disclosing that she cared a lot for seminarians and every other person that comes in contact with her. The prelate further charged Christians to live a life they will be remembered for and always prepare for the last day.
The chairman Federal housing Estate 33, Onitsha Chief Ken Nwezi, Chief Ifeanyi Ezeanyatu, Hon. Sir Joseph Dimobi in their condolence messages enjoined Anyaora family to take heart and follow the good steps of their mother and sustain the good legacies she left behind.
Also, the president Royal Exclusive Club of Nigeria Newman Emeka Emeodi and Chief Reginal Chimezie Ezeani while condoling with the family, advised them to be thankful to God who blessed their mother with long life and other endowments that distinguished her in the society.
A family friend Chief Emeka Aghasili ( Onwa n’ Nise) in his own condolence message urged Anyaora family to see the burial of their mother as blessing in disguise since it is a privilege for children to bury their parents who died at a very old age. He also charged them to keep on believing in God as their mother did while alive.
The chief mourner Chief Arinze S.B Ide in appreciation thanked Bishop Ezeokafor, priests, government functionaries, captains of industries and other sympathizers who came to mourn with them, asking God to bless them.
