Report reaching Trinitas Newspaper Desk said two Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Jesus Congregation namely Vincentia Maria Nwankwo and Grace Mariette Okoli who were recently kidnapped on their way from a meeting,have regained their freedom.
A statement released by the Secretary General of the congregation Sr Maria Sobenna Ikeotuonye IHM,dated 13th January 2025,said they were released unconditionally and in good health.
The statement which was released to the General public read,”I bring to your notice in joy that our dear Sisters Vincentia Maria Nwankwo and Grace Mariette Okoli who were kidnapped in the evening of Tuesday 7th January,2025 have been released unconditionally and in good health”.
The Congregation expressed gratitude to God and members of the public for their support and prayers all through the period of the incident.
