The people of Nkwelle community last Sunday poured accolades on the executive governor of Anambra state His Excellency Prof Chukwuma Soludo for kicking off construction of Oyolu, Nkisi and Nkpor road network.
The president General of the community cum regent Chief Willy Okafor while commending the governor on behalf of the community members posited that they are happy over the development.
He also expressed satisfaction at the rate of development the state is witnessing under the administration of Governor Soludo, asserting that the governor is doing. “We are not surprised at his achievements within two years in office because we know he will do well and that is why we voted him in to be our governor.
“If you look at the State, you will notice that he is doing marvelously well and before he leaves office, things will improve more. He has shown great interest in education, health and other sectors and that summaries that he has a good mission for the state.”
The president General further drew the attention of the governor to other roads in Nkwelle, that are in bad state, requesting his intervention. He also appealed to the state government to come to their rescue in the area of erosion, disclosing that all the villages in Nkwelle are facing similar challenges.
He extolled the governor in area of provision of security, testifying that rate of insecurity has reduced since Soludo assumed office, requesting the governor to redouble his efforts in that area since his community needed to be secured more adequately because of influx of people who are residing in that area.
