The Chief Shepherd of Onitsha Archdiocese His Grace Most Rev Valerian Okeke last Sunday charged Christians to live a life that will be a blessing to others.
Archbishop Okeke gave the advise while delivering a Sunday Homily during his pastoral visit at Holy Spirit parish, Omaba.
According to him, any life that doesn’t affect others positively is not worth living, because such life can’t represent one as good a Christian.
” Life of Christian must affect others positively and by extension, become a blessing to the next person. In other words, we should shun unwholesome life such as life of hatred, anger, deceit, selfishness etc that can hurt neighbours put them in difficulty.
God has a purpose for creating you and that purpose is for good not for bad. The same God has the power to turn a bad situation into good and can use any body to perfect it.
In every circumstances, never loose hope or be afraid of evil conspirators but hold tenaciously God.
Those who are privileged to occupy the positions of authority should not abuse it, rather be a servant leader ” , he advised.
