St Charles Borromeo College of Nursing Sciences led by the astute administrator Rev Fr Fidelis Nwanze bagged Cooperate Business Ethics and Integrity compliance award.
in his remarks, Fr Ekwunife described the award as a welcome development. His words: ” It is an encouragement that what we are doing are being appreciated by others we do not even know. It is an encouragement to all those who are around so that they will be motivated. It is also a call to strengthen our feathers more and strengthen areas that needed attention and improve more. We cannot be tired of learning because by leaning we empower our selves once more. We thus strengthened what we have already perfected and that makes for us more forbidable institution by extension more forbidable society. We thank the Archbishop for his encouragement that has actually led us far. It is a very big motivation.
Nothing good comes easy. All we have achieved are simply product of series of selfless sacrifices over the years. There is no gain in sharp practices, in trying to cut corners, in trying to award marks to students that doesn’t merit such marks or trying to admit somebody who have not passed into our institution. In essence, it is simply a product of sacrifices. If the Archbishop has said nobody should enter into College of Nursing Sciences without passing very well, it will be a very terrible tragedy if any of us under him should go away to do those things since it will spell doom, but because the management and the staff doesn’t comprise, the ethical compliance became possible. I encourage the staff not to relent and the students to keep on doing their best because it is already attracting positive attention from far and near”, he noted.
