Christians have been called to avoid hasty judgement on others since judgement should be left in the hands God.
The Chief Shepherd of Onitsha Archdiocese His Grace Most Rev Valerian Okeke made the call while preaching a Homily penultimate Sunday during his pastoral visit to St Michael’s parish Nkpor Agu.
According to him, it is not proper to make hasty judgement on others, branding the next person as worst sinner since no one on earth can claim perfection except God.
“There is always a hostile force in the world and as Christians, we must be aware of that hostility force which is even among us that can create occasions of sins. In essence, we are not perfect as human persons, but only God who is perfect that knows the perfect ones.”
“Also avoid perpetrating evil because you felt that know body can see you. Rather, continue to make efforts to repent of your sin, and one day you will conquer those sins. Strive to live a life pleasing to God, and by doing so, you are already imitating God,” the prelate advised..
