The Government of Anambra State, under Governor Chukwuma Soludo, is set to empower and train more thousands of young people in the state through the “One Youth, Two Skills” initiative.
The immediate past Anambra Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Patrick Agha Mba, made this known, to the press during Governor Soludo’s second term inauguration at Awka.
While felicitating Soludo, Hon Agha Mba disclosed that the governor has succeeded in producing thousands of millionaires in the state through the same initiative , stating that today the beneficiaries of one youth two skills are training other youth for free.
Expressing confidence in the governor’s commitment to youth development Hon. Agha Mba maintained that the program aims to equip young people with practical skills, enabling them to become self-employed and contribute to the state’s economic growth.
“The governor is passionate about youth development, and this initiative will provide opportunities for our young people to acquire skills and become entrepreneurs,” Hon. Agha Mba said.
The program is expected to cover various sectors, including technology, agriculture, and vocational trades, with the goal of empowering thousands of young Anambra residents.
Hon. Agha Mba urged young people to take advantage of the opportunity, saying, “This is a chance for our youth to build their future and contribute to the development of Anambra State.”
