Prince Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu (Ikukuoma Ndigbo), the leading governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State, paid a compassionate visit to Amichi town following the recent tragic accident that claimed lives, injured several people, and damaged property. The incident has plunged the community into mourning.
During the visit, Ikukuoma extended heartfelt condolences to the families who lost loved ones and offered words of comfort to the injured and their families. He prayed for the repose of the souls of the deceased and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
Demonstrating genuine concern and solidarity, Ikukuoma made a financial donation to assist victims with medical expenses. His gesture provided much-needed relief to families grappling with the tragedy’s aftermath.
Looking ahead, the APC candidate unveiled a proactive plan to improve road safety in the area. He pledged that, if elected governor in 2025, one of his first infrastructural projects would be the construction of a modern flyover at the Amichi town center site of the fatal crash. According to him, the flyover would help decongest traffic and significantly enhance the safety of road users.
“No family should have to endure such avoidable pain,” Ikukuoma stated. “I’m here not just to offer sympathy, but to promise that a safer, better Anambra is achievable and together, we will make it happen.”
Grateful residents of Amichi welcomed his visit with open arms, praising both his empathy and concrete support. Community leaders commended him for combining words with action, reinforcing their confidence in his leadership and candidacy.
