The Chairman of Anambra State Football Association (ANSFA), Mr Chikelue Iloenyosi, has been invited to attend the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Annual General Meeting and Season Draws as a Special Guest.
The invitation to the ANSFA Chairman was made public through a letter dated 22nd July, 2025, endorsed by Barr. Danladi Ibrahim, Secretary to the Board and Legal Adviser, with the caption, “Invitation as Special Guest at the 2025/2026 NPFL Annual General Meeting and Season Draws”.
The memo read: “The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Board, has the honour to invite you as a Special Guest to the 2025 NPFL Annual General Meeting and Draws Ceremony for the 2025/2026 NPFL Season.
“The event is scheduled for Monday, 28th July, 2025 by 10am at the Wazobia Hall, Abuja Continental Hotel (formerly Sheraton), Abuja.
“As a distinguished personality and ex-international whose contributions to football and national development are widely respected, your presence will significantly enhance the prestige and purpose of this important football engagement.
“Your presence will serve as an inspiration to the football community and reinforce our shared commitment to elevating the standards of professional football in Nigeria. Please accept our best sporting regards’’.
Iloenyosi, through his passion, commitment and innovation, has contributed immensely towards the growth of football in Anambra State and his wealth of experience as a former Under-20, Under-23 and Senior National teams is being felt across the nation through the instrumentality of football.
