In a collaborative effort to boost economic empowerment in Anambra State, Senator Tony Nwoye (Anambra North Senatorial District) partnered with the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) to provide entrepreneurial skills training and resources to over 250 constituents from Anambra East and West Local Government Areas.
The program, held at Senator Nwoye’s country home, drew participants from across all political wards in the two local government areas.
Senator Dr Tony Nwoye during the empowerment programme, donated 25 Motorcycles to one beneficiary per ward in Anambra East and Anambra West Local Government Areas, a brand new Toyota Corolla Car, 90 Grinding Machines, 100 Sewing Machines and a cash grants to over 50 Indigent women across All the Political Wards in the Local Government Areas of the State to support their entrepreneurial ventures and skill acquisition.
At the event, Senator Dr Tony Nwoye who was represented by His Campaign DG in Anambra East, Hon Mandela reaffirmed his commitment towards the betterment of the people of the Anambra North senatorial district.
He said this empowerment, the second of its series after the January 7 2024 empowerment, is for the two local Government areas (Anambra East and Anambra West) of Anambra State. Other Local Governments will follow later.
Speaking at the empowerment Programme, the Labour Party Chairman for Anambra East Local Government Area, Chief Chidi Chinwuba, praised the Senator Nwoye’s relentless efforts in executing various empowerment programmes for the good people of Anambra North Senatorial Dustrict.
He expressed deep appreciation on behalf of the party for the Senator’s consistent focus on bettering the lives of his constituents.
In his Remark, Chief Anigbata described Senator Nwoye as a true servant of the people who continuously gives back through various development initiatives.
