Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has doled out N50m to the Super Falcons ahead of their 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Benin Republic.
The Super Falcons defeated the Amazons 2-0 in the first leg.
Justine Madugu’s side will entertain their neighbours in the reverse fixture at the Moshood Abiola Sports Arena, Abeokuta on Tuesday 27th October, 2025
The players and their officials visited Abiodun at his office in Oke Mosan, Abeokuta, on Monday.
Abiodun said the gesture is in recognition of the Super Falcons’ inspiring performances, and to further motivate the team for the task ahead.
