Senator Dr. Victor Umeh, representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, has publicly endorsed Mrs. Justina Amaka Azuka, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for the Onitsha North 1 Constituency bye-election slated for Saturday, August 16, 2025.
In an impassioned appeal to constituents, Umeh urged the people of Onitsha North 1 to rally behind Mrs. Azuka, widow of the late Hon. Justice Chukwunenye Azuka, who was kidnapped and brutally murdered last year. He framed his support as both a call for justice and a continuation of the late lawmaker’s legacy, insisting that electing Mrs. Azuka would enable her to carry on her husband’s “good works” in the Anambra State House of Assembly.
