For the fourth consecutive night, pilgrims gathered in St. Peter’s Square at 9 p.m. to pray the rosary for Pope Francis as he continues his recovery at Gemelli Hospital.
The prayer vigil takes place at the same location where nearly five years ago, the pope stood alone in the rain, offering prayers for the world during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
On Wednesday evening, Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re led the rosary, as the faithful continue to unite in prayer for the Holy Father’s health and well-being.
