The Ladies of St Mulumba,Basilica Subcouncil during the week paid a Charity Visit to the St Charles Borromeo Specialist,Onitsha.
The Hospital Deputy CEO, Rev. Fr. Kingsley Okaro and the Head of Nursing Services, Mrs Joy Osunkwo received the Ladies.
The President of the group, Lady Dr. Loretta Ukeji and the PRO, Pharm. Lady Anuli Ugochukwu explained respectively that the aim of the annual visitation was to help pay the bills of some patients who could not afford to pay their hospital bills. They transferred a total sum of Four Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira Only (#450, 000) to cover the bills of 4 to 5 patients.
The Deputy CEO, in his remark commended such attitude towards the needy saying it was a welcome development.
He thereafter prayed and blessed the ladies.
