It was a joyous moment and celebration of a befiting life on 27 December, 2023 at Umudioka, Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State as High Chief Lawrence N. Epundu Oranyelueze celebrated his 80th birthday.
The celebration which began with a Thanksgiving mass at his home Town, Umudioka Civic Center Umudioka was greeted with the presence of priests and religious from the diocese of Onitsha and also his children, grand and great children and members of his age grades
While delivering the homily, the priest said It was a thing of joy to gather as a family to thank God and to celebrate our Fathers and mothers who have attained the age of 80. Continuing, he said that it is the grace of God that bestows long life and good health to make people attain such ripe age.
While giving his homily he thanked everyone who made out time to join the mass and celebrate the celebrant. He also thanked the Igwe of Umudioka his Royal Highness Igwe Raphael Chukwurah
After the mass people departed with joy radiating from there facece to the glory of God
