Ideani Community beg Gov Soludo to extend roads construction to their community

The people of Ideani in ldemili North Council Area recently held a one day ldeani developement Union Federated lDUF annual delegates Conference ,ADU,2024 with a call to be one united entity in order to move the town forward, even as they pleaded with the Executive governor of Anambra state, His Excellency Prof Chukwuma Soludo to extend his administration roads projects to their community.

Presenting his address to the delegates drawn from eight villages in town,branches,the president General of the town union Hon. Engr Paul Chidubem Okoye commended governor Soludo for embarking on road construction, reconstruction and tarring in different communities , testifying the current administration is transforming the state gradually and poured encomiums on his wife Mrs Soludo for donating Three hundred seats and tables to their community primary school, adding that the singular gesture has eased off lot of challenges their children are passing through in the school because of lack of seats

On the other hand, the PG begged the governor to extend the olive branch to his community by building their roads, complaining that his community is yet to feel the presence of the government in terms of road construction for the past years. He stated that apart from the road that passed through Abatete, Ideani, Uke road, no other road has been constructed and tarred by the state government in Ideani.

While speaking on the theme of the conference Securing the future of Ideani through unity, Peace. Progress and Prosperity; a solution based approach ‘ the president General charged his community members to show more commitment to the development of the town by donating generously to on going projects in the town saying that government can not do it alone and later appealed to them to unite and eschew division that hampers development in Ideani.
Speaking to the Trinitas Newspaper, the Vice president, Dr Dozie Udolisa in his remarks urged fellow Ideani indigenes to shun disunity and champion peace in order to witness speedy development of their town. He expressed worries that Ideani is the least developed town in the state in terms of infrastructure, calling on the state government to extend developmental projects to their community.

Also speaking the Secretary general of the town union,Nze Nnaji Uwaezuoke , Chairman of all villages Mr Bright Adimba Buchi , Chief Nelson Ojukwu, Kelvin Ojukwu and in their contributions appealed to Anambra state government to remember their town especially in the areas of road construction and appointment of Ideani indigenes into the government, stating when such requests is granted, and implemented, it will go along way in developing their community.

Addressing the conference,ldeani women led by the leader,Dr Mrs Chinwe Nwandu who expressed satisfaction for the turnout of members, called for oneness and fathers to always carry out their responsibilities in various homes and towns and to pull their resources together for a better tomorrow and advocates for government presence in ldeani.

This year ldeani delegates Conference featured, accreditation of members, presentation of annual account, swearing in of new elected council of elders headed by Ezeani among other things.
