The Chief Shepherd of Onitsha Archdiocese His Grace Most Rev Valerian Okeke recently reminded christians that the Almighty God we serve can never abondone anyone who obeys His commandments no matter the circumstances.
The prelate stated this while delivering a Homily during his pastoral visit to the Catholic community of St Mary’s Parish Nnobi.
According to him, God loves every one He created and cares for our needs and will not abandon anyone who obeys His commandments and do His will.
” Most times, some people who are facing great challenges may think that God has forgotten them. Such notion doesn’t not hold water because God in His infinite mercy is ever ready to assist us when we call on His name. He will fight for us so that we will conquer every tribulations and challenges on our way.
In essence, no matter your circumstances, don’t loose hope or backslide because God can never abondone you. In addition, don’t allow your trouble to harm your faith. Try to discover the presence of Christ in you and sustain it by doing His will and by doing so, He will be using you to perform miracles.
Don’t be mean with your wealth or blessings because God never wants you to hoard it. Share with others and extend God’s love to your neighbours and those that may come your way ” , he advised.
